The Heavy Load Support Cable is designed to spread the load out across the Dredge Boom when put under extreme resistance. We highly recommend using this attachment with all 8 foot booms. This will prevent the boom from ever bending. Recommended for triple stacked bait dredges or for pulling any type of dredge at trolling speeds of 9 knots or greater.
